3 Pitches

Our first pitch is investigating bug infestations and dorm issues. I have heard a lot of people complain that there are always spiders in their dorms. It is possible that there can be bug infestations/ issues in many of the dorms on campus. We can talk to people in different dorm complexes and staff members that have maybe seen or heard of any infestations. We both think this is  very good topic because we can talk to many people and shed light to any problems that students face in their living quarters.

Our second pitch has to do with the rumor that Iggy’s is going to be turned into The Habit grill. Although there is nothing confirmed, we would like to hear the responses of students to this. We would like to see if people like the idea or are against it. A lot of people do not like the food that the Den has, so maybe if Iggy’s is turned into a burger joint, there will be positive feedback.

Our third pitch is Journalism turning into a major. Many students are so interested in journalism, but can only minor in it. We would interview many students and see if having a major in journalism is something that they would pursue. Also we would possibly investigate why it is that LMU had not offered a journalism major in the past. We could talk to staff and also get their opinions of this and ask how classes would be set up if this happens.
